2CONCAVE

After the  last year introduction, we decided to evolve even more the TWO CONCAVE bottom and we will use it on all the '08 boards collection.

TWO CONCAVE differs from a normal Bi-Concave 'cause has elliptical shape with progressive concave shape :  with a deepest centre point, lining up with the bottom surface when getting closer to the fins.

The two concave are running along the board making two channels presenting a flat rocker in the centre and a slightly curved rocker increasing when getting closer to the tips, reducing to zero concave near the fins area.

TWO CONCAVE, together with the flex tips, give you very soft landing and maximise control, delivering enormous acceleration keeping a strong control while edging, carving and riding.

ABS

ABS is the new method to have rails working 100%, with the minimum thickness possible for the maximum rail grip during riding.

To reach this goal, we have searched for a wood more resistant also on minimum thickness, with no problem during ABS connection.

ABS rails are more resistant and shock absorber than VTR or classical mould rails.

ABS rails are also coloured to permit a better board view in the water after a fall.

THE THINNER PROFILE POSSIBLE

to have a board with "his own Soul"

The new 2008 boards will present a different body compare to last year ones.

We decided to keep the same thickness in the centre of the board but giving a slightly descending shape towards the rails reducing weight and gaining on torsion and up wind abilities.

The new core construction present a mix of AIREX & WOOD, combined and shaped together tks to a special CNC.

This option give us the opportunity to reduce the core thickness (up to 10 mm.) and weight (around - 40% less than a wood-core),

but still keeping the same qualities such as

FLEX, ROCK-SOLID FEATURES,TORSION, ECT...

This new method permit also to define even better the flex, using different thickness during core shaping.

LAMINATION: FULL CARBON LAYERS+ FIBERGLASS

CARBON

All KITELOOSE boards are laminated with VTR bottom and  top layers combined with Carbon layers.

Carbon is very hard to find on the market, plus is very expensive, but we still believe that a good product needs an excellent construction materials.

Carbon is much more reliable than VTR and with a much more resistance to shocks, better flex  and less weight.

At the end you will have a lighter board with very good flex, very good absorption to shocks and very durable.

Those qualities are a must HAVE for the new era !!!!

FWT CORE

TO REACH THE COMPROMISE BETWEEN STIFF & SMOOTH FLEX

The new 2008 LP board will presents a different core from all the others '08 boards collection.

Why? LP playground is for low to medium wind conditions, so a stiffer board will perform better in early planning and edging.

But a Light Wind board has to permit to do same manoeuvres as if you are in more steady winds; so if you jump, you do unhooked tricks, in few words ... doing freestyle, you need pop to go high and flex when you land, to save your knees.

Also FWT is shaped with a special CNC.

This option give us the opportunity to reduce the core thickness (up to 10 mm.) and weight ,

but still keeping the same qualities such as

FLEX, ROCK-SOLID FEATURES,TORSION, ECT...
